From Memphis, the Victory University Men's Baseball team played another doubleheader at home against Brescia University on Sunday.

The Eagles bounced back in an exciting fashion winning in the last inning 6-5. Taylor Pierce pitched 4 and 1/3 innings picking up the win.  Kent Voorhies got 2 hits.

Brescia won the second game 9-2. Efrain Padron took the loss.

“This was a tough weekend for our team. They had to play hard to win. It was good for us to see how important it is to always be ready to play every game. Brescia competed every inning. This weekend will help us be a more competitive team,”  said Coach Jarnagin.

The Eagles are now 11-3. Next up for Victory is LeMoyne-Owen Tuesday at Gagliano Field.
